The Best Glock Magwell for Speedier Reloads [2026]

Ever since I tried their triggers, I've been a big fan of Overwatch Precision. This magwell is 7075-T6 aluminum, which helps protect the base of your polymer Glock grip from training dings and provides smoother reloads since polymer magazines slide over aluminum better.

It's very aggressively ramped near the heel to ensure you get the magazine in the first time, every time. The front is contoured for extra grip support. And it's low profile enough for a concealed carry gun. It's not a super wide race gun funnel, but for a carry or casual competition gun, it does the trick.

Your Glock frame is polymer too, so this magwell is just as durable as your gun. It gives you a bigger target for magazine insertion and is minimal enough for concealed carry. It's not the widest funnel, but at less than half the cost of aluminum alternatives, it's perfect for anyone who wants faster reloads without slowing down their retirement plan.

Made from Magpul's high-density polymer—the same stuff in PMAGs. Feels harder and more rigid than the Glock frame. Adds very little weight, which matters when it's on your belt all day. The ramping is fairly aggressive on the sides and front, though I wish the heel ramping was steeper. Still an excellent EDC option.

The 2-piece design makes it super easy to install—just screw it on. I'd recommend thread locker to keep it from coming apart unexpectedly. The flared funnel works well and polymer magazines slide smoothly over the anodized aluminum. The wider funnel adds some grip bulk, which can cause printing, but it's manageable with the right holster.

High-grade 7075-T6 aluminum with a fairly wide flare. Has relief cuts for magazine extensions that use external mounting hardware like Taran Tactical extensions. On shorter grips, the flare gives you a pinky index point for a more consistent firing grip. Solid for competition shooters who use extended magazines.

Skews toward full-size guns that don't need concealment. The wide flare provides a nice funnel for quickly slamming magazines home, even without perfect alignment. The pinky extension helps with grip control. Not compatible with Gen 4 backstraps—you can modify them, but at your own risk. Excellent for competition-level performance without extreme bulk.

Most magwells extend below the grip, which is great for reloads but makes it hard to strip magazines during malfunction clearance. The Agency Arms Magwell adds a slight funnel while leaving most of the magazine baseplate exposed, so you can still grip your magazine in an emergency. A tad pricey, but if you want an aluminum magwell for concealed carry, this is the right choice.
