Write for Us!

If you are on this page, I'm guessing it's because you are interested in writing for MMR. After all, we are one of the fastest growing gun websites on the internet and have a monthly readership that should pass a million readers sometime in 2020.

So you want to put pen to paper and contribute an excellent article to our website? Awesome. Here is what you need to know...

1. We tend to be conservative, but we do welcome opposing viewpoints in opinion pieces. Pieces covering current events are welcome if you have an awesome idea and angle, but we generally stick to what we know best: guns and gun culture.
2. You need to write well. You don't need to be Hemmingway, but you should be able to craft a compelling article, whether it's a salty opinion piece or a product review geek-out that dives into the nuts and bolts of an obscure product. Interesting is what we are after.
3. You need to email your submission (or pitch) to jay(at)minutemanreview.org with at least one example of past writing, and the email headline: Writing a Kick-Ass Article for MMR.
4. We generally like articles to be a minimum of 800 words. We don't have a hard max, but find 800-2000 word articles to be the best range.

If your article is a good fit for us, we'll get you set up with an author profile and you can submit the article directly to one of our editors. You will have an author bio with a link back to your social media and/or website.
